PROJECT RESTORATIONFIELD GUIDE

THE MAP

57 areas, and the store says 56.

The store advertises 56 locations. The wiki’s own categories add up to 57 areas once you count territories, surrounding areas and sub-areas separately — so either the store rounds down, or the wiki counts rooms inside rooms. We cannot yet tell which.

COMMUNITY INDEX

Every name below was published by the community wiki, which we read through its own API on 2026-10-31. We have not confirmed a single one in the client, and the wiki’s own articles run 16–34 words each. Treat this as an inventory, not as advice.

Territories

9 named regions, the top level of the map.

Surrounding areas

5 outdoor zones around the base.

Sub-areas

43 places inside or under a territory.

Drop zones

12 loot-and-scrap spots the wiki lists separately.

What is missing

Every row above is a name. Nothing says what grows there, what it costs to reach, or which quest opens it — that is what a session would fill in, and it is exactly what the wiki does not publish.

What the shape of the list suggests

Four territories out of nine are named after infrastructure — a power station, a bunker, a signal zone, a science township — which reads like a progression through what humans left behind rather than a walk across biomes. The fifteen surrounding and sub-areas are smaller and oddly specific (Garbageboy Valley, Ice Cave, The Ruined City), and the twelve drop zones are plainly farming loops rather than story places. If that ordering is real, the first hour happens in one territory and the rest of the map opens behind unlocks, but only a session can confirm it.
